Modern Slavery Statement
Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps A.M London Fashion Ltd (“AML”) has taken, and continues to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or our supply chains.
A.M London Fashion Ltd is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct, responsible sourcing and fair treatment within all areas of our operations and supply chains. Modern slavery – including slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking – is a severe violation of human rights. Operating within global fashion supply chains, we recognise the importance of ongoing vigilance and strong governance to prevent these risks.
Policy Statement
We act with integrity in all business dealings and require the same from our suppliers, partners and stakeholders. To support this commitment, we maintain systems designed to
- Prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain
- Promote transparency, accountability, and responsible sourcing
- Ensure ethical labour practices and safe working conditions at all levels of our supply chain
Our Expectations of Suppliers
Suppliers and partners working with A.M London Fashion Ltd must not engage in or tolerate:
- Slavery or servitude
- Forced or compulsory labour, including the use of detained or prison labour
- Human trafficking
- Child labour
- Any practice resulting in exploitation or deprivation of liberty for personal or commercial gain
We expect all suppliers to maintain appropriate policies, compliance frameworks and due diligence processes. Where concerns arise, we require immediate investigation and corrective action.
Due Diligence
Our due diligence framework includes:
- Supplier onboarding checks and assessments
- Reviewing labour standard indicators and risk profiles
- Evaluating compliance certifications and independent audit findings
- Conducting investigations where concerns are escalated
Training & Awareness
We ensure relevant teams, including Buying, Production, Technical, HR and Sourcing, receive appropriate training to identify indicators of exploitation, respond to concerns and uphold responsible sourcing principles.
Continuous Improvement
We recognise that strong ethical sourcing requires ongoing development. Over the next year, we will:
- Strengthen supplier audit practices in identified risk regions
- Increase visibility of Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers
- Provide enhanced training to teams with compliance responsibilities
- Continue refining our due diligence processes
