On Thursday 9th July, we headed to Shoreditch to sponsor Bring Your Own Boy, a Team Faves event hosted by Frankie Bridge. The idea was simple: to make fashion feel more welcoming and give the boys space to get involved.
A soft launch for the boys
Team Faves created BYOB after noticing that men can often feel overlooked or self-conscious when it comes to fashion. So, they invited the girls to bring a boyfriend, husband, dad, brother or best mate along for the evening.
Think of it as a soft launch into the world of style.
Frankie and the team hosted the night at Cecconi’s in Shoreditch, with head stylist Lauren Paxton talking through this season’s key menswear looks. Tom Pulls Faces and Cy is the Limit also shared their own approach to style to help everyone find what works for them.
The response was amazing. The boys got involved and had some genuinely meaningful conversations, and it was all a reminder that Faves is about much more than what you wear.
The boys brought the looks
Of course, the outfits did not disappoint, and the lovely Nick Howard Lanes, one of Faves’ very own boys, wore our stylish Stone Suit. He looked seriously good in it.
There were drinks and delicious canapés (including some very good arancini). More importantly, there was a room full of people enjoying fashion without any of the usual pressure around it.
A big shoutout to Team Faves for creating a space where everyone could join in. You should be so proud of the night, and we were thrilled to be part of it!
