The history of pink
Pink is undoubtedly a colour of joy and positivity, things we desperately craved 2022 to be full of. After two years of coping within the pandemic, the resurgence of pink has brought about joyful new beginnings. The trend-forcasting company WGSN decided that 'Orchid Flower' is 2022's colour, a gorgeous saturated magenta that boosts our mood. House Beautiful describe this shade as: "Inspired by the tropical orchid plant, with its long-lasting flowers and distinct scent, this trans-seasonal hue is versatile and luxurious, with a strong connection to nature."
